The obvious resolution for 2020 is to actually write stuff in my blog. A lot of things happened at the end of 2019 and Shooglenifty completed the year by playing a gig in Parliament Square, in front of St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. I was glad to get indoors once we had come off stage as I was freezing. I had been standing in the street for ages before the gig talking to some old friends which was worth getting cold. The funny thing about the gig was everyone ran off to see the fireworks at the start of our set so there was next to no one there. People did start coming back after a while and there was a good bit of dancing going on.
Edinburgh's Hogmanay is quite a massive event 75000 people spread over the centre of town!
